There are ten different cardboard character types which appear in TimeSplitters 2. Five of these are civilians, who decrease the player's score if shot, and five are enemies, who should be shot. The characters are in grey-scale with blue backgrounds. The images look as if posers were pasted onto uneven planks of wood, as the wrinkles and ridges are visible in each. The young female characters are all displayed with arched backs and in provocative poses. Aside from the boy, there are only two male images, both enemies. The devil is of neuter gender. These characers appear only in the Cut-out Shoot-out challenges of both TS2 and TS FP.
