Messianism is a term used to designate those who worship the awaited son of the demiurge. Historically, messianism was a counter-cultural reaction to the dominant satanist religion. Its modern incarnation arose in the nineteen-sixties as a youth movement who preached acceptance of one's lot in life. A rumor went out that if you played gospel music backwards it would spell Messianist themes Back to Wicked World
