These are slightly rarer than expansion pack cards and are much more sought after. In total, 53 cards were published over a four-year span. Almost all Japanese promotional cards were brought to the Black Star Promos. Four cards, Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, and Pokémon Center have different card art compared to their Japanese counterparts, which the former had sponsorships with the All Nippon Airways. The latter (Pokémon Center) had English exculsive artwork. All cards related to Mewtwo Strikes Back have a Kids WB gold foil stamp on them.
