Electric Pillars are used to defend an Stronghold's perimeters from Arachnid ground forces. As part of the defenses, five large electrified pillars are installed around the perimeter. These posts are charged up with electricity, so when anything goes between them it allows two pillars to complete a circuit therefore electrocuting whatever is in the center.

  • Electric Pillars are used to defend an Stronghold's perimeters from Arachnid ground forces. As part of the defenses, five large electrified pillars are installed around the perimeter. These posts are charged up with electricity, so when anything goes between them it allows two pillars to complete a circuit therefore electrocuting whatever is in the center. The electrified pillars are all powered through the Stronghold's main power supply, so they can run as long as main power stays online. Connecting the posts to the mains was the most effective way of maintaining the power in all of them, as power could not be cut in one pillar leaving a hole in the perimeter.
