Urusai, 'noisy', was a jade katana. In the Isawa Mori a Mujina tricked several earth kami into a tree and then sealed them with their most prized possesion, Urusai. The blade lay buried there until 1123, when a group of magistrates release the blade from the earth, freeing the kami. In gratitude they gave the sword to the group. Urusai was used to defeat Kuzushi no Oni and his minions inside the Mori Kuroi, the 'Black Forest'.

abstract
  • Urusai was born a some years after the founding of Tobikakurenai. He was also one of the first students admitted and graduated at the Academy created by the Second Tobikage, who would later be his predecessor. Urusai always wanted to be the best in everything and always wanted to perform lots of missions. Part of his determination and hard work were rewarded with large hourly and recognition, plus his temper and his inflexibility caused him to gain some enemies, both inside and outside the village. As a Tokubetsu Jōnin he fought for Tobikakurenai during the Second Shinobi World War, where he was able to show to the enemies of his village all his skills by using his kekkei genkai, the Pressure Release. During some point of the battle, Urusai accidentally battled against Jiraiya in a fight where both shinobi used their skills with the Summoning Technique. Even though it was a short fight, Urusai and Jiraiya fought hard for nearly an hour, at the end of the battle when Tsunade and Orochimaru appeared to depart the fight, Jiraiya and Urusai apologized for the incident and both agreed to end the battle with a draw. Still, Urusai wished he could fight again against the Toad Sage. When the Second Tobikage became too old to occupy the position of leader of the village, Urusai was appointed to be his successor. His will, his desire to make the village became even stronger and more prosperous and his apparent immunity to headaches and boredom caused by huge stacks of paper to be organized caused his name to be a favorite for take the stand as Kage. His politics and his relationship with his subordinates are enviable because his eyes attentive to details made the military power of the village become increasingly strong. With his policy of "no challenge, no victory" and "pride is due to hard work" laws have become stricter against betrayers of the village and the feeling of concern and zeal became stronger among Tobikakurenai residents. The prestige of the village also grew when, from the possession of Urusai, the shinobi of the village began to take on and complete more often more difficult missions. However, sometimes unpleasant episodes happened after his appointment as Tobikage. The betrayal of Chika Taisuisō, who left the village to join Amegakure to start a process of implementation of Dark Medicine to young shinobi and kidnapped his pupil Onwa Hikaeme was a negative event that marked the history of Tobikakurenai and Urusai's.

With their delicate olfactory senses, urusais rode the rising thermals of the blue Tatooine sky, nesting under eaves and on cliff outcroppings. Females had two wings, while males had four—the larger rear wings were used for flying, while the smaller front ones were strictly for mating displays. Balancing on their strong tails, they wooed prospective mates, who laid two to three eggs per brood. In a harsh microcosm of Tatooine's brutality, the first young to hatch destroyed the remaining eggs—unless two had hatched simultaneously, whereupon the chicks would duel until one fell to the ground. With a wingspan of two meters, a hefty weight of forty-three kilograms, and a lifespan of up to fifty years, the urusai was an imposing reptavian species. • Urusai was the second personal starfighter flown by Taran Allantis during his missions fighting alongside Wayland's Wilders. During the Galactic Civil War, Allantis was a skilled assault pilot, and was attached to Jacen Wayland's privateer group in order to provide training to its operatives, as well as assisting in their campaigns. At the time, he flew a modified N-1 starfighter which he had named Sandbat, after a creature native to his homeworld of Tatooine. After the Battle of Endor, Allantis was again sent to work with the Wilders, this time alongside a large number of New Republic personnel (they provide the crew of the gunship, Overkill, among other duties), and with a new, deadlier starship under his command. Allantis had been one of the Alliance's best pilots at flying its heavy assault craft, beginning with an outdated Koensayr Y-wing, and later becoming one of the first pilots granted the right to fly the new B-wing heavy assault starfighters, which proved to be love at first flight. Taran's early experiences as a privateer in Sandbat influenced his choices when it came time to customize Urusai (named, like his previous ship, for a Tatooinian predator). Extended missions away from any sort of resupply base led to his swapping out the proton torpedo launcher usually mounted in the fighter's lower ordnance pod for a turbolaser and dedicated generator, allowing for more prolonged heavy attacks. Lately, when faced with the possibility of combat with the Yuuzhan Vong, he would replace the ship's ion cannons, which were useless against the Vong's biotechnology, with a second pair of pulse lasers.
