This often involves the removal or making redundant the existing concrete pillars, blocks and internal beams, and the construction of a new external skin of brickwork. Some types of property such as Wates and Reema do not always require the removal of the existing concrete structure. They can often be dealt with by treating the existing defective concrete to prevent any future corrosion and wrapping with new face brickwork for weather protection. These house were built all over the country by different contractors under license to use the system.
