Adventure Mode: The Flash Of Shadows was the planned downloadable "story mode" extension for the EXE version of Super Smash Flash 2. The story had been developed by some SSF2 Devs known internally as The Flash Of Shadows Writers, led by Suliboy. The story was planned to be about the group of heroes' struggle to defeat a "Shadowy Man" along with his minions known as the "Cubots". Much like in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, players would have unlocked secret characters by allowing them to join your party.
