Nojun was a magistrate of a small mining village south of Shiro Mirumoto. The village was rumored to be blessed by Daikoku after a rich vein of gold was discovered. The village was plagued by cave ins however, and investigations into the matter could not uncover the true cause of the cave ins. Even Kaiu Engineers were brought in, but even they were not able to determine the cause. This led some to believe that there were malicious mujina living in the area.
