- The unnamed Shadowdancer is an assassin who had been sent to kill the King of Nowhere along with his accomplice, "Kaboom" Redaxe. Their original plan involved assassinating the king while he was heading to a peace conference with the King of Somewhere at the Weary Travelers Inn and Tavern. He originally planned on using his powers to travel through shadow to murder the King while he was still in his room, though his accomplice pointed out that since they existed in a stick comic, there were no shadows and he was therefore useless. Mistaking Roy Greenhilt for the king, they attempted to assassinate him. The Shadowdancer passed Belkar on his way climbing up the inn's exterior, and the two exchanged professional courtesies.
