A Wide Stance (nolpke bollyo seogi) is like a Horse-riding Stance where the legs are straight rather than bent. In fact, one form where the Wide Stance appears is Sipjin, where you transition from Horse-riding Stance to Wide Stance by doing precisely that: rising up to straighten your legs. Feet are placed about two shoulder widths apart, both feet are pointed forward. Weight is distributed evenly between both feet.
