The Voorhees Dagger was a special weapon that was carried by Creighton Duke and was given to Jessica Kimble to use for the express purpose of killing Jason Voorhees and sending him to Hell, once and for all. When Duke carried the dagger, it was a simple, double-edged, black wood handle dagger. However, when he threw it to Jessica and she caught it, the simple dagger transformed into a nearly foot-long, bone handle double-edged weapon with a gold crossguard.

After a fierce struggle with the reborn Jason, Jessica manged to stab him through the heart from behind, which ended the murderous Voorhees' life and sent him to Hell forever, or at least, until Freddy Krueger brought him back to life in the next movie.
