There are no actual livestock on site. The museum is run by Lincolnshire County Council. Opening daily from Easter to 31 October. Admission is free. The museum has twice taken top place in the council's own popularity poll of visitors attractions. In June 2010 it was announced that the Museum was to disappear this because Lincolnshire County Council Wanted to close the museum down, they claim falling visitor numbers.
