[[File:|thumb|Blackfang.]] Blackfang was an infamous lupus Shadow Lord, born in Vivarais, Auvergne, in France, in 1762. He eventually underwent his first change and began hunting humans with his wolf kinfolk in an attempt to restart the Impergium. In September 1795, the Royal Game Warden Antoine de Beauterne, killed one of Blackfang's Kinfolk, mistaking him for Blackfang himself. The French thought Blackfang has been killed, and celebrated, but Blackfang soon started to kill again. Jean Chastel, a Shadow Lord kinfolk, ultimately killed Blackfang with a silver bullet on June 18, 1787.
