| - As ever, I stand by the fact that edit count is not everything, but here's one fun little fact: the top ten edit counts on this wiki are The Light6, Wikia, Aepokk Venset, BitterLime, Ylimegirl, Caligorg, some douchebag, Lp2277, Octachoron, and Kbmr. Excluding Wikia and our resident "bot", that list is 100% staff members apart from Ylimegirl. This certainly says something.

| - As ever, I stand by the fact that edit count is not everything, but here's one fun little fact: the top ten edit counts on this wiki are The Light6, Wikia, Aepokk Venset, BitterLime, Ylimegirl, Caligorg, some douchebag, Lp2277, Octachoron, and Kbmr. Excluding Wikia and our resident "bot", that list is 100% staff members apart from Ylimegirl. This certainly says something. Moving onto more formally considered grounds than edit counts, I shouldn't need to tell anyone who has paid attention to wiki work in the last several months that Ylimegirl is one of our best editors. She's constantly around to add, improve, gnome, you name it. Just now, I took a cursory look at her contributions to get a feel for what she's been up to, and saw a whole host of categorised images. Huss knows that's one of the many huge maintenance jobs that really need doing and hardly anyone wants to bother with most of the time! In short, I think there should be no doubt that Ylimegirl deserves to be a moderator. Frankly, she may well deserve to be a sysop not too far down the line, though I'd say we should take it one step at a time unless there is very strong agreement about that one
* Support: I've had this idea in the back of my mind for ages, I've been thoroughly and consistently impressed by her work and would've nominated her ages ago had I found myself capable of knowing exactly how to go about that. I second everything SN has said, particularly the image categorizing, as having a range of people focused on distinct parts of the wiki drastically helps our productivity, and the overall quality. In terms of edit count, SN is correct that it's not everything, but it certainly isn't nothing. I got to my place on the list having joined the wiki a significant amount of time after Light, bitter, and SN. LP joined shortly after me, and then he made the list. And then there's Ylimegirl! Someone who has been on the wiki for slightly more than a year, and she's in the top five! That's certainly a sign of dedication. Above all that, Ylimegirl is incredibly responsible, punctual with edits, thorough, you name it. She even has a host of helpful templates and sandboxes that I hope we might be using someday soon. Ultimately, I think Ylimegirl is the absolute best choice of current active users to promote to moderator. Aepokk ∀ulpex 01:42, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
