A "The Gift of the Magi" variation (similar to that used in Christmas Eve on Sesame Street), Cookie Monster trades his cookies for a teddy bear t-shirt for Radar (and Big Bird). Although the shop is drawn as Hooper's Store, the text refers to it as a general store, run by Granny Fanny. Granny Fanny also displays a knack for making Hanukkah snacks (potato pancakes). Grover is her part-time employee, adding yet another item to his resume.
