A Nosepeg or Slayer helm is required to kill the Spectre champion. Summoning familiars are not allowed into the fight. You first must present the scroll to Larxus in the basement of the Champions' Guild, then proceed down the trapdoor adjacent to the champion statue (located in the same area as Larxus). The Aberrant Spectre Champion is a lighter colour than other Aberrant spectres, almost a yellow colour. The Aberrant Spectre Champion does not count for an Aberrant Spectre slayer task.
