The War of the Providence subsector was a war lasting eleven years between 7 and 18 ABY. It took place in the area of the Sumitra sector around the planets Providence, Lombarda, Selutha and Mygeeto, as well as many other planets in that area. Lombarda was conquered briefly by the imperial remnant, but Ggerrilla warfare began and the Lombardans reclaimed their planet. This was two years into the war, and before long, the two sets of enemies collided, instigating a huge four-way war with no alliances or truces and danger facing every side from all directions.

| - The War of the Providence subsector was a war lasting eleven years between 7 and 18 ABY. It took place in the area of the Sumitra sector around the planets Providence, Lombarda, Selutha and Mygeeto, as well as many other planets in that area. The war began when the Droid Confederacy's population of both droids and organics grew too large for them to stay limited to the small area around their base planet of Providence. Many scouts were dispatched to nearby planets to search for suitable places to build colonies. The small planet of Sor was colonized, but the confederacy wanted another so they could safely continue growing without overcrowding. The search led them extremely close to their long-standing enemies, the GTA, who feared an invasion plot against them, and dispatched a small army to claim the DC's new bases, as well as a few other planets. This sparked a brief conflict that escalated into full scale war after a few months. Meanwhile, on the nearby planet of Selutha, Jerjerrod's imperial remnant, the Fleet of the Empire, had reached an army size big enough to pose a serious threat to other small factions, and Jerjerrod decided to use this to conquer once and for all the small planet of Lombarda which had repeatedly repelled the Empire a few years earlier. This was highly successful as many Lombardan army units had dispatched to the conflict between the DC and GTA to try to maintain peace. They returned quickly after they learned that the Fleet of the Empire had blockaded their homeland. Lombarda was conquered briefly by the imperial remnant, but Ggerrilla warfare began and the Lombardans reclaimed their planet.
