  • Lilla-Zaidie is the name given to a new star which was formed in the year 1900, resulting from the collision of two dead stars into a single one. The collision also produced a protoplanetary cloud which in the future will probably condense to form planets. The star is named in honor of Lilla Zaidie Redgrave (née Rennick), the wife of Lord Lenox Redgrave, who financed and built the starship Astronef, designed by his father-in-law Prof. Rennick. The Redgraves were married aboard the ship and traveled through the solar system with it in their honeymoon, during which they observed the formation of this new star.
