Ujikeme was a magistrate of the Lion governor of the Hamana province, Ataka, during the Clan War. He was a gambler and a drunker who used to visit Ugaido's inn. There he lost many koku during a dice play of Fortunes and Winds, and overreacted when the fortunate player, a ronin, decided to left the play. Ujikeme drew his sword and a sake house brawl followed. The wave man bested him with his bare hands. He did not know that his opponent was Ginawa, wielder of the wicked Bloodsword Revenge.
