Donald Tucker is a former NASCAR driver from Greensboro, NC. He competed in nine Nextel Cup Series events in his brief career, with quite a bit of success. All of Tucker's starts came in 1965, when Tucker debuted at Daytona. Starting 6th in the qualifier event, Tucker drove to a stunning 4th place finish, his best career showing and making the pretigious Daytona 500. After a solid 15th place finish in the 500, Tucker had a number of mechanical problems in the next four races that eliminated him from competition. But Tucker finished strong in his final three races, recording a pair of 8ths at Charlotte and Bristol.
