"I guess that's where Bolvo and his pirates are holding Leela," Lora stated, lowering her binoculars. The Jedi twins stood atop a hill, watching, across a wide-open plain, guards patrol outside an old stone building. "Those goons said it was an old temple. That looks like the place." Sora turned and jumped into the landspeeder that he had rented to quickly traverse the terrain of Dantooine. Lora followed him and they took off. "Shouldn't we try to sneak up on them? You know, have a small advantage?" Lora querried over the hum of the landspeeder. "Master!" Leela cried. "I'll kill you!"

  • "I guess that's where Bolvo and his pirates are holding Leela," Lora stated, lowering her binoculars. "Sneaking was never my thing." Nothing more was said as they rapidly approached the temple. The guards outside saw them and raised their blasters, releasing a volley of bolts after them. Sora piloted the landspeeder to dodge all of the blaster bolts. When they were in range, Lora dove out of the vehicle, activating her green double-bladed lightsaber in mid-air. She landed in the middle of a circle of pirates. Without hesitation, she begun dispatching them. Her lightsaber flashed and spun in her hands. Sora glided around in the landspeeder, serveying how he might get inside to Bolvo. All of a sudden, the door burst open and out stepped a middle-aged man in a flowing, black leather coat. The man raised a rocket launcher to his shoulder and aimed it at Sora. Without time to turn, Sora did the next best thing - he bailed. The man in the leather coat pulled the trigger on his rocket launcher. With a whoosh! a rocket soared out of the launcher, rustling the man's brown hair. Using the Force, Sora leapt high into the air, somersaulted, and landed by his sister, blue-bladed lightsaber activated. The landspeeder Sora had been piloting burst into flames and sparks showered into the air. Sora cursed. "That was a rental!" Lora had killed almost all of the pirates, but what was left, Sora took care of. He then turned to whom he assumed was Bolvo - the man with the rocket launcher - just in time to see a missile careening toward himself and Lora. The explosion threw the twins apart, and Bolvo disappeared inside the temple, leaving his rocket launcher on the ground. Sora picked himself off the ground and dashed in after the pirate leader. Bursting through the doors, he found Bolvo holding Leela with a blaster pistol up to her head. The old temple was dark, and Sora's lightsaber glowed brightly. There was nothing in the temple - no furniture, only crumbling rock and bare earth. Sora's apprentice hadn't changed much in appearance. She was still shorter than most Twi'leks, though she had matured more since he had last seen her. She could be called attractive, as most Twi'lek are. Her light green lekku twitched nervously, and her face was riddled with anxiety. "Master!" Leela cried. "You let her go!" Sora called. Bolvo chuckled. "She's awful pretty...She could fetch a fortune...I'll sell 'er to a Hutt or somethin'." "I'll kill you!" "What're ya' gonna do? You try anything and I'll shoot her right now!" Sora raised his hand and channeled the Force into the blaster. Slowly, steadily, the blaster moved to point straight at Bolvo's face. Sweat beaded the pirate's forehead as he fought against the Force. It was futile. "Too easy," Sora said, and forced the pistol out of his hand. It skidded across the bare stone floor. Sora leaped forward, lightsaber raised. Bolvo threw Leela to the side and reached up and grabbed Sora's wrists, stopping the death blow. The two struggled, gritting their teeth. Bolvo won out, kicking Sora in the gut and forcing him backwards. Bolvo made a break for his blaster, sliding across the ground. He brought it up just in time, as Sora jumped at him. Bolvo pulled the trigger and hit Sora in the shoulder. The Jedi didn't falter for long. He stayed on his feet and charged as Bolvo kept firing, standing slowly. Sora deflected the blaster bolts and kept pushing. Finally within range, Sora kicked the hand the pirate held his blaster in, and then torched it in mid-air with his lightsaber. The sparks rained down on both of them. Sora kicked Bolvo to the ground and brought his lightsaber close to the pirates neck. "Kill me, Jedi." "Oh, I will, I just want to enjoy it," Sora replied. "Sora, don't!" Lora had finally shown up and was standing by Leela, who watched with wide, fearful eyes. "He deserves it. That's the one thing the Jedi Order doesn't understand. Evil people do vile things and the people they harm deserve justice!" Sora glared down at Bolvo, who watched silently. "Sora, even though you've left the Order, you can still succumb to the dark side!" Sora scoffed. "Light side and dark side...Good and evil...Right and wrong...Call it what you want. I call it justice." And with that, Sora brought his lightsaber through Bolvo's neck. Lora sighed and stared blankly at the floor. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ "Thank you for coming for me." Leela embraced her Master and kissed him on the cheek as she pulled away. "Any time, kid," Sora grinned. "And you're sure you don't wanna come back to the Temple with us?" Lora offered. Sora hugged his sister before answering. "No thanks." "Please, stay safe." "And come visit," Leela chimed in, Sora chuckled. "I might be around."
