| - A Battlecruiser is a starship classification used by most species navies. By ISW-4, they were the lightest ships to still be viable in a proper fleet engagement. They are also the lightest ship capable of firing missiles heavier than a Standard missile. They are considered the boundary between the battle line and escorts. Those used by the Arachnid Hegemony were capable of carrying ten Gunboats.
