Everybody (with at least 200 mainspace edits) could be nominated or nominate himself. The number was chosen according to the size of Brickipedia. Other wikis with a comparable number of users and articles have sometimes even less members in such a panel. But the panel is not *that* important anyway. We just needed some responsible and reputable users that would be obliged to make sure that featured articles do actually meet the criteria. If there
