Ninigi was one of the few full-blooded Senju known to be alive still. Ninigi, though not directly related to the famous Hashirama Senju, was able to recreate his power of Wood Release through large amounts of flesh grafted into him and had become extremely well-known for it usage himself. He was eventually sacrificed by corrupted Konoha officials acting out of turn to maintain peace in the shinobi world, as the other villages thought he was on his way to recreating Hashirama's power and would further unbalance the world.

Another one of his well known monikers is , which given to him for his mastery of a notorious space-time technique of Tobirama Senju, the famous Flying Thunder God Technique, which he had merged with the usage of his Wood Release to give him powerful terrain control.
