Goody is the son of a Goblin Chief, he had once been a normal goblin boy, but when his mound was invaded, his nurse sought to hide him by giving him a drink with powdered Reverse Wood, reversing his nature, making him the one polite male goblin. He was dressed up a girl and was safe until the invasion was overthrown. After his father discovered what happened to his son he was exiled for politeness. He went to the Good Magician's Castle for advice on how to solve this defect in character but decided to keep it. After recovering from grief of Go-Go's death, he married Gwendolyn Goblin.

The company produced a number of very unusual models in the 1940's and 1950's - typically these yo-yos were decorated with colourful logos, painted stripes and often contained rhinestones of various colours. The rhinestone layout is especially evident on the Rainbow model, with each of the 7 rhinestones a different colour. These extra decorations are though to have been the company's way of standing out from the competition. In the early 2000's a limited number of Goody yo-yos have been sold on auction by the Royal company, including the Goody Comet and Goody Rainbow. As with all models from this era, the early Goody models are sought-after collector's items, fetching high prices when they become available.
