- Quest: Kojani Amateur Education (Blacksmith)
Located on the westernmost pier, north across the bay from Tanvu. He asks you to make Kojani Gauntlets and Kojani Blade . You need some tin ore, and use the "special recipe" for tin ingots and sheets for the quest.
- Find in Three Rivers by the forge.
She’ll ask you to make 3 Thestran Sabatons and 3 Thestran Blades.
The boots are made from two Tin Sheets and the blades from one Tin Ingot. Bring some tin ore. There are no utility vendors here, so bring enough of your own.
- Go to the center of the city down the large street.
She'll send you to Carul in Lomshir to get recipes for the things she wants-- the NPC's name is actually Aslak Carul is at location 16589, -8194, 7453 in Lomshir so don't run around trying to /tar Carul.
Aslak Carul will proceed to give you 3 recipes in a NON-quest format… there will be no clickies in the dialog… you will right click on the NPC and receive the recipes immediately. They will go into your special recipe sections.
Iron Ingot , Iron Short Haft, and Iron Small Hilt , so be sure to have at least 6 iron ore on you. Take the items back to Valer in Ahgram. Reward: T3 Recipe access, Resonating Powder of Rejuvination or Renewal, 10,000 crafting XP. +50 Qalian Artisans

Quest: "The Thestran Journeyman"
Visit Grodek in New Targonor. He asks you to go to Shaletooth Tower, which is the dwarven starting area close to Bordinar's Cleft. Once you are there, he wants you to 'find inspiration' and craft what comes to mind.
When you get to Shaletooth Tower, when looking directly towrds the front door of the tower, move around to the left side of the tower and then look at the tower itself. This should result in yellow text on your screen telling you that you have been inspired. When this happens, the recipes for 'Mithril Ingot' and 'Worked Haft' will be added to your recipe book .
The location in the Bordinar's Cleft chunk is approximately:

Once you have been inspired, now you have to do some crafting.
Firstly, you need to make ten mithril ingots. If this is the first Journeyman tier quest you have done, you will have to use the 'Mithril Ingot' recipe that will have just been added to the Refining "Special Recipes" section of your recipe book. However, if you have already done one of the other continental journeyman tier quests, and you have already trained in the Refining "Normal Recipes" recipe for 'Mithril Ingot', you can use that instead. Using the normal recipe is preferred because that will give you crafting experience, whereas using the special recipe gives no experience. Either way, note that there is a large experience reward for the quest as a whole which more than makes up for that!
Then, when you have your ten ingots, you need to make five Worked Hafts . This is always a Finishing "Special Recipes" section of your recipe book. These combines do not give experience.
These crafting steps can be done anywhere. Because Shaletooth Tower is right next to Bordinar's Cleft, you could go into there to make the items, but anywhere will do.
Finally, when you have crafted the five Worked Hafts, you must travel back to see Grodek in New Targonor to hand them in. He accepts your work, removes the temporary special recipes from your recipe book, and gives you the quest rewards. You can now train in the general and Thestran journeyman blacksmith recipes, up to your current level.

Quest: "The Kojani Journeyman"
Starts in Cai'al Brael with Waltay Bajan, the Blacksmith Instructor requires you to pay a visit to Veenax Station) north of Martok to gain inspiration . Craft the items and turn them in. Inspiration was found on the very south outside part of the garrison. /loc 58097, -55039, 1695.

Starts in Ahgram with Valer Thanul , requires you to visit a tower in Hathor Zhi to gain inspiration .
The tower is just before you get to Pankor Zhi, go to the west side of it a few feet off the wall once in that area you will get the update and the recipes. Craft the items and turn them in.

- He'll send you to Lakash Daykete -58117, -22544, 21027 in Cal'ial Brael , the thoroughly unpleasant master blacksmith, to get the recipes for the stuff he wants you to make.
Bring at least 6 iron ore and use the recipes she gives you to make, for weaponsmiths, 2 metal short hafts and 4 metal small hilts.
Return to Kimaka in Martok for the turn in.

It's not far south of Lomshir, you'll see it on your map.
She'll ask you for 2 Qalian Metal Armguards and 2 Qalian Metal Blades .
Bring some tin ore. There are no utility vendors here, so bring enough of your own.
The closest location with a utility vendor is Lomshir.
- See Grodek in New Targonor.
He'll send you to Carind Seaforge in Bordinar's Cleft to get the recipes for some things he wants you to make.
Once you talk to Carind, you can make the necessary 1 metal short haft and 5 metal small hilts-- but make sure you have at least 6 iron ore with you. Return to Grodek in New Targ to give him your shiny new hafts and hilts and voila
