The Battle of Slavabrya was a fairly large battle during the Cruentusian War, a conflict that took place before the rise of the Galactic Republic. It occurred when the fascist Necasian Military assaulted a base of the socialist Srav Federation on the planet of Slavabrya, but heavy Srav resistance, coupled with bungling on part of the Necasians, stymied Necasian efforts. The Necasians attempted to launch an assault on a town where the Sravs were concentrated, only for their tank divisions to be repelled in the fields outside. Necasian regular and elite infantry made abortive progress in the town, but were eventually neutralized.

The Necasians attempted to launch an assault on a town where the Sravs were concentrated, only for their tank divisions to be repelled in the fields outside. Necasian regular and elite infantry made abortive progress in the town, but were eventually neutralized. Following this, the Necasians launched an attack on a Srav missile base, which failed due to carelessness on the part of the troops and a rapid Srav response. With confidence in victory dropping, Necasian leader Askar Invado ordered the Necasians to commence guerilla operations. In response, the Sravs dropped orbital satellites onto their positions, causing heavy casualites and morale loss. Shortly thereafter, Srav commander Vlad Mutin arrived to assume command of the battle. Claiming that his actions would preserve Srav lives, Vlad destroyed several towns the Necasians were using to retreat with nuclear weaponry. With the Necasians driven away, the Sravs celebrated their victory.
