  • I'd say this has shown how many truly do care for this section. Oh really? I never saw any of you instantly updating this section whenever new news came out. Suddenly everyone only cares about this section when it's renamed. In fact, only two people responded to the intial new name proposal, which has been there for over a month.
  • Update: Now that we have two new Admins, which one is in charge? If neither, I'll take the job.
  • I love how this is a big deal despite the fact no one really cares for this section of the Wiki.
  • (Nu, edit conflict x2 ;.;)I agree with ILHI
  • Bumping again. This isn't a very difficult decision, just choose a name.
  • Frankly, if it supplies the fucking news, the name doesn't matter. That said, while we're on the subject, I'd sooner have it named after something in-universe and suiting. So how's "Mognet"? And anyone who doesn't know what that is doesn't get the right to respond. ^_^
  • MMIL is a girl ILHI. Her picture is right there on her userpage. >_> When I get a new admin, they shall be charged with this page.
  • How about "Timber Maniaca", if we wanties something from the mainstream series?
  • So... uh... BUMP?
  • Honestly, I think any competent user who has proven thier worth to this wiki and wants this post should at least be given a chance. Of course, it isn't my place to say.
  • (Oops, I never saw this on the RC until today o.o) I never really understood what the Executive Editor did anyway, other than add the majority of the articles, as Bluer did. Unless there's a real need for someone in "charge" , we don't really need an EE; a lot of people contribute to the Bugle and there isn't any special formatting that non-admins can't do. If there was a need for an Executive, I think BlueH or Drake would be good managers.
  • Actually the only thing I'd like to change is to make a Template for adding things to the Main Page, similar to what we have for Featured Articles. Its a pain hunting for that box at the moment. Also, we need a Banner at the top of this page. I'll have to work on that. (Also, I hate the name, but that's me. If changing it pisses people off, it will have to be left alone.)
  • That works fine, the current name, just sounds plain stupid. @Diablo - I'd say this has shown how many truly do care for this section.
  • I'm giving you all one more bump. I really do want somebody to show some interest. If there isn't a response to this final comment, I don't want to hear a single complaint after I take over. Not one. You have been warned.
  • I can only go with whatever information I can find. If you have information and are unwilling to post it, then who must we blame when we don't have it? Remember, AJ-Baby, as long as you edit here, you are a part of this wiki. Our weaknesses are yours.
  • Thanks for the thought, but if any new user is put in charge here, it'll likely be a new Admin of some sort, and that'll never happen for me. Probably Faeth or Yuan.
  • Well Blue, if this is about VII's representation here, we could rename one of the forums "Turtles Paradise".
  • Well, you've got my vote, whatever that vote is worth. You're the only one that has been actively contributing to the Bugle recently plus nobody else seems to have made any interest in taking it over.
  • The only powers I've ever seen for an "executive editor" that I've seen is simply formatting the page. Other than that, its all the individual contributors. Thus its largely an empty position. But more importantly somebody FINALLY answered me!! Did we double our Admin staff for nothing?? Out of all of them, not one.
  • I've been without internet access largely for the last week and a half or so, for not noticing. As for updating with news, I update it when I have news. If I have no news to post, I don't, if I do, then I do. And unless my upcoming dental work is interesting to you, then I have nothing.
  • I've always wondered why this was called the Midgar Press. Is there a newspaper in FFVII called this? If not, I propse a new name, after a newspaper that does exist in the FF multiverse, the Bonga Bugle! XD
  • :Image:Bonga Bugle Banner Idear.png. Open to all sorts of vast community oversight. Any suggestions?
  • My vote goes to Drake Clawfang. If there's any voting held.
  • Huh, I guess you all don't care. In that case, I'll be taking over tomorrow , assuming you all remain as quiet as you have been for the last four days.
  • So who is going to be taking over this post now that Bluerfn is gone?
  • I'm sorry if I've done it the wrong way somehow, but I took the liberty to post a news about the update on the Final Fantasy XIII websites.
  • I'd be willing too, though I don't expect to be chosen.
  • Don't worry, the Tokyo Game Show is only next month. We can wait until then.
  • Whoever the new editor will be should definitely do something about all the Dissidia site updates. If no new tangible information is obtained, is it really news?
  • I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that MMIL was second in command, so the position should pass on to her...but I can't remember exactly where... I'll look after the Bugle until Diablo makes a new admin, if no one else minds/wants to.

Also, if possible, make all users validate the email they use in order to put up yet another hurdle. --TacticAngel 09:25, 21 May 2006 (UTC) I disagree for several reasons: 1. * Several anonymous editors, who probably don't want to waste time logging in, have been proofreading many of my mistakes in the articles I wrote. 2. * It makes us seem less friendly. One of the first moves I made as admin was to protect the Main Page. However, I was asked to unprotect it so that this Wiki seems more friendly. 3. * I don't know how to do it. Crazyswordsman 12:48, 21 May 2006 (UTC) Since when are Wikis friendly? I've never gotten a friendly or constructive comment when I've done something wrong, well not here, but at other Wikis. --Auron Kaizer 22:26, 5 November 2006 (UTC) We are still small, in the sence that we have few active members and everybody here pretty much knows everybody else, so we are able to better keep a track on eachother. That may not be the case for many bigger Wikis that have more than a score or so who make more than 5 edits. --Hecko X 22:37, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
