The Bridge is a continuation of Topaz Street in Algonquin and can also be accessed from its very own exit ramps from the Union Drive West. At the Alderney end, the bridge leads straight into the Plumbers Skyway. On the Algonquin side of the bridge, two Flying Rats can be found. One beneath the bridge which can be shot by boat, and one on the right side of the lane traveling towards Algonquin, it can be found before the traffic lights. Occasionally, an Annihilator spawns flying over the bridge heading south while crossing either side of the bridge.

At the Alderney end, the bridge leads straight into the Plumbers Skyway. The Hickey Bridge is in a location relative to the George Washington Bridge between New York and New Jersey. The Hickey Bridge does bear little bit of resemblance to the George Washington Bridge, like the little truss towers at each end of the bridge and the mid-span trusswork based on the trusswork covering the lower deck of the GW bridge. However, although not correct in regard to location, the bridge does have some resemblance to the Roosevelt Island Bridge, which connects Roosevelt Island (see Colony Island) to Queens (see Dukes).
