The Second Battle of Kashyyyk was the first battle of 19,BBY for Golden Squad. They were sent into the deep forest of the Kashyyykian jungle to help find missing Wookies. Golden Squad rushed down on to the surface and fought there way into the battle droid forces. During the Battle, Wolffe was killed when he was shot in the neck and one of the the wookie Jedi injured, it was up to the rookies of Golden Squad to help save the wookies and the war to end on Kashyyyk.

| - The Second Battle of Kashyyyk took place in late 10 ABY and was the first major military action by the Empire against the Republic following a period of consolidation after the successful Great Campaign of Emperor Valak the previous year. The Empire was inspired to attack Kashyyyk following a series of domestic riots protesting the New Republic. While the Republic fleet promptly withdrew, it was anticipated that ground resistance would prove much more stubborn. Rather than engage in a protracted battle Zeak Oppenhiemer issued an evacuation advisory by leafleting the area surrounding the Republic military base prior to unleashing an orbital bombardment which reduced the base and several surrounding acres of land to molten glass. Oppenhiemer then deployed fuel-air ordinance to deplete the requisite oxygen in a successful bid to prevent the spread of fires. Once assurances had been obtained that Kashyyyk would leave the Republic for good, the Imperial fleet withdrew from the system.
