| Synopsis
| - While testing a new "Vacuum Blanket" designed to conk out the engine of another plane on behalf of Col. Webb, Batman and Robin are forced to abandon the Batplane when its own controls become frozen. Unaware that a freak crosswind has steered the Batplane away from sea and into the hands of criminal Bull Boley and his two brothers, Batman begins work on a new plane. Meanwhile, the Boley brothers approach down on his luck former war pilot "Flying Tiger" Haggerty with a proposition. Fly the Batplane for them in exchange for his parents safety. Forced to assist in a diamond robbery at the Gotham City Municpal Airport, Haggerty is identified and presumed to be masterminding the entire operation.
This story is a reprint of the lead tale in Batman 61 Oct-Nov, 1950.
- When Robin is ambushed by a gang of criminals one evening, Batman is given the ultimatium to not set foot in town for one week to ensure his safety. After agreeing to the demand, Batman devises a scheme to ensure that he can keep his word while still managing to protect Gotham. When the criminal organization attempts to steal a shipment being made to the Gotham National Bank, they observe a dome shaped Flying Bat-Cave approach overhead. Believing that Batman can do no more than watch their actions, they proceed with their plans. However, they soon learn that the Bat-Cave is equipped with tools to defeat them such as a magnetic arm which can pull their tommyguns from out of their hands. In the days that follow, the criminals attmept evade the Flying Bat-Cave through a variety of methods.
This story originally appeared in Detective Comics 186 August, 1952.
- When Vicki Vale manages to capture a photograph of the Batmobile in action, she is unaware that her picture contains a clue as to Batman's true identity. In an attmept to postpone the publication of the image, Batman offers to provide her with a first hand account of the Batmobile's past feats. Meanwhile, a highspeed driver dubbed 'The Racer' has been terrorizing the streets of Gotham.
This story is a reprinting of the third tale in Batman 98 March, 1956.
- Batman aficionado Elmer Mason is visited by two men claiming to be fellow admirers of the Caped Crusader. In reality, the two men are criminals intent on acquiring Mason's films featuring Batman in action with his batarang. When informed of the theft and the crooks threat to "pay Batman back with his own stunt", Batman reflects upon the various Batarangs he's made use of in the past, while cautiously eyeing a vault containing 'Batarang X' which he will be forced to use to apprehend the criminals.
This story was originally presented in Detective Comics 244 June, 1957.
- Public Enemy Number One, Wolf Brando has escaped prison and taken refuge in nearby Wayne Manor. There he overcomes Dick Grayson and stumbles upon the entrance to the Bat-Cave. Realizing what's he discovered, Brando concocts a scheme to blackmail Batman into allowing him the use of his outfit to pass by the police barricade outside. Refusing to make any bargain with Brando, Batman and Robin are forced to fight the criminal who has every weapon in the Bat-Cave at his disposal.
This story is a reprint of the second tale from Batman Vol 1 48 Aug-Sept, 1948.
- Believing that escape is impossible when trapped by criminals inside the Coal Hopper at Gotham's giant electric power plant, Batman removes a disk from his Utility Belt and treats it with a chemical which reveals his true identity for the purpose of later identifying his body. However, Batman is rescued at the last possible moment by Robin who has captured one of the gang. While riding home, Batman and Robin investigate a break-in at a warehouse. Unbeknownst to the crimefighter, his Utlity belt is severed during the battle and is later discovered by high school student Paul Henson. After learning of the loss upon arriving at the Bat-Cave, Batman begins a manhunt for the missing belt. Unfortunately, criminal "Nimble" Hyle has also learned of Batman's predicament and informed Crime Boss Drum of the situation. The belt passes through the hands of several individuals before finding its way into the hands of Drum who discovers the disc hidden within the belt.
This story is a reprint of the Batman adventure which first appeared in Detective Comics 185 July, 1952.

A sideview plan of the Bat-Cave which includes a look at the hangers for the Batplane and Batcopter, the Bat-Cave's Lab, Repair Shop, and Garage on its Upper Level, and its Work Shop, Trophy Room, Computerized Crime-File, and Underground stream for the Batboat on its Lower Level. We also learned that the Bat-Cave itself is capable of emitting a smoke screen to conceal the entering and exiting of its airborne vehicles.
