  • Hierophant is a title which was purchased from a Saradominist quartermaster or Zamorakian quartermaster for 6,000 Renown. The player also had to own a Dragon Saradominist token/Dragon Zamorakian token. It was possible to obtain both different versions of the title if the player switched sides during the event.
  • Priests who have chosen to diverge from the Order's orthodox doctrine - "unless for reasons of self-defense, you must not harm others with magic" - believe in resorting to aggressive tactics to achieve their end. A great number of Prophets are working to make the world a better place today, but those among them who have reached a new pinnacle after hearing fate's whisper are referred to as Hierophants.
  • The Hierophants or Eternals are the leaders of the Followers of Set in the absence of their founder. They are historically noted to be the oldest of their clan, who have known Set personally and acted as his stewards in the temples dedicated to the god.
  • Head of the Magi * Currently this is Brostangian
  • Like all Tyranid species, this Bio-Titan seems to be able to mutate rapidly, evolving new weapons and defences as required. The genetic process through which the Norn-Queen develops such unusually large biological constructs remains a mystery to the Imperium's Magos Biologis. Whilst it seems that a Hive Tyrant or Carnifex could easily be a further adaptation of the basic genome and body plan of a Tyranid Warrior, no other known Tyranid bioforms are a logical precursor for the Hierophant. Combating a Bio-Titan like the Hierophant is simply a matter of applying the heaviest firepower available; large ordnance weapons and heavy artillery have so far proved the only effective weapons for Imperial forces in destroying the hideous Tyranid Bio-Titans.
  • A prefix title awarded to druids who complete their wisdom AA line.
  • He would give the Elixir to anyone who would pass the test of Fatima and open the entry to the Catacombs leading to the ancient Temple of Aphrodite, however Galahad insisted to enter without passing the tests. Arthur offered to the beggar money and some charcoal as part of the test of his spirit. Then, after passing Fatima's test, she sent him to find the Hierophant, and the beggar opened the Catacombs for him.
  • Represented by Ryotaro Dojima, main character's uncle.
  • The Hierophant is a holy garment well loved by the Faerie of the East Woodlands. The Hierophant is composed of a distinct high collared coat worn over Faerie slacks. While the heavy coat keeps the Aisling priest insulated in colder climates, the fabric is light and comfortable for summer wear as well.
  • The Hierophant can be found in the Druids' grove in the swamp with the other druids once Chapter III has begun. He is a professional poker player and knows one of Geralt's old acquaintances, Mousesack (also a druid). Geralt, having amnesia, can not remember Mousesack, though.
  • A divine spellcaster who rises high in the service of his deity gains access to spells and abilities of which lesser faithful can only dream. The Hierophant prestige class is open to power divine spellcasters who are approaching access to the strongest and most difficult divine spells. They delay the acquisition of these greatest gifts in exchange for a deeper understanding of and ability to control the power they channel. - Hit Die: d8 - Proficiencies: A Hierophant does not gain any additional weapon or armor proficiencies. - Skill Points: 2 + Int Modifier.
  • Hierophants appear in the World of Warcraft as Hierophant Theodora Mulvadania, Nagaz, Hierophant Cenius, Hierophant Liandra, and Hierophant Thayreen. Hierophant Caydiem[1] can be found in the Warcraft TCG. Presumably, this is a religious title. It is also part of several items' names like Band of the Hierophant, Hierophant's Leggings, and Hierophant's Sash, as well as being an item suffix for randomly enchanted leather gear, indicating stamina, spirit, and healing.
  • A brood of Hierophants are likely to be at the forefront of a major Tyranid planetary assault -- striding forward, drawing the enemy's heavy weapons fire away from the lesser Tyranid species, absorbing tremendous amounts of firepower before smashing into the enemy line with devastating force. The Hierophant is the Tyranid Hive Mind's largest bioform adapted for shock assault tactics, and it is armed with powerful Bio-Cannons, multiple claws and razor-sharp blades. The Hierophant is armoured with a thick chitinous hide that exudes poisonous spores from rends in the plates.
  • Type-B 05, codenamed "Hierophant," (ハイエロファント) was the second boss encountered in House of the Dead 2. It was a swimming, fish-like creature which attacked using a trident. AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart first witness the monster on a television screen during a news report, telling of how an unidentified being had taken control of Sunset Bridge. Eventually, when the agents meet up with their contacts Amy Crystal and Harry Harris beside the bridge (the docks if the player does so), they are unexpectedly confronted by Hierophant.
