The Free City of West Lavrada, or FCWL, was a semi-autonomous city-state consisting of the city of West Lavrada, surrounded on all sides by the Holy Salanian Empire. The Free City was created on October 11, 2010, in accordance with the with the wishes of the city's only inhabitant, Ashton I. It is only semi-autonomous, and has a binding political, military, and economic alliance with the Holy Salanian Empire. However, it may conduct its own foreign relations and make its own laws.

The City has belonged to the Republic of Salania and Holy Salanian Empire, respectively. It ceased to exist with the capitulation of the Empire in May 2011.
