LIGHT'S REACH - Less than a week after the concept was discussed within the Imperial Tribunal and between other Imperial organizations, it has been decided that the designs for a "state regulated" Imperial Cult will be abandoned. The decision seems to reflect the Imperial Tribunal's understanding of the conflicted opinions regarding the Light, the Shadow, and the role of spirituality and religion within the Empire, as well as enduring legacy of the Church of True Light's rule over such things until very recently.
The Prince himself is said to have had an active role in the dissolution of what was primarily his own concept. The newly created position of Arbiter will be maintained, however, as the Empire has not had any active "Counter Heresy" agent since the last Emperor's Hawk. Faith and Spirituality will apparently be left to the people to explore on a personal level, it seems, though the Imperial Tribunal and the Imperial Watch will remain vigilant in case extremist elements - such as those of the Remnant Church of True Light and the Cult of the Dragon - attempt to convert people to their fanatical and often damaging views.
