| - The following statement was passed at a SpongeBob Universe staff meeting on October 3, 2012. The SpongeBob Universe Official Statement Summary: The Official Statement outlines several developments intended to help secure and meld together both the SpongeBob Wiki and SpongeBob Community as SpongeBob Universe is built up as an ecosystem. The Official Statement includes such policy proposals that will move into effect a single hierarchy as outlined by Andrew (AMK152) and Dylan (iDylan/tvguy347), approval for strict integration between both the Wiki and the Community, approval for the creation of the SpongeBob Universe founding document and official rules, as well as several other minor policies. Policy 1A, Unified Hierarchy A single, departmentalized organization for governing SpongeBob Universe is a necessity and will be regarded as policy if passed. Policy 2A, Approval For Strict Integration Should this plan be passed, the following italics will become policy: Heads of SpongeBob Universe possess the power to override community arguments and integrate SpongeBob Universe as tightly as possible. Integration between SpongyNews, The SpongeBob Community, and SpongeBob Wiki will increase dramatically to produce a more efficient ecosystem. The registration process for SBC will be hugely simplified, ability to discuss from the Wiki will become simplified and more direct, and SpongyNews will become the exclusive news source for the entire SpongeBob Universe network. This is in direct response to the outcry over removal of comments on the SpongeBob SquarePants Wiki. Policy 3A, Approval For A Creation Document Should this plan be passed, the following italics will become policy: The Official Statement is not a founding document for SpongeBob Universe; it simply speeds up the process of joining the Wiki and SBC. A creation document will be created by a number of people to label the limits and rights of each branch of the SpongeBob Universe, state the network’s goals, incorporate and revise the staff hierarchy, and specify other uncovered materials. Policy 4A, Approval For SpongyNews Should this plan be passed, the following italics will become policy: SpongyNews is intended to become the SpongeBob news center of the internet, editable by anyone in order to increase the efficiency and speed of news. No other site will offer news, being fed news directly from SpongyNews. SpongyNews will become an official part of SpongeBob Universe with this policy. Policy 5A, Moderation For All Should this plan be passed, the following italics will become policy: All SpongeBob Universe department heads will receive moderation and administrative rankings across SpongeBob Universe so that they are able to moderate on The SpongeBob Community, the SpongeBob SquarePants Wiki, SpongyNews, and the Xat Chatroom. However, for the sake of size, the entire administration will not (for example, not all moderators or editors from both SBC/Wiki will receive privileges on another branch of SBU. Policy 6A, Joint Staff Meetings Should this plan be passed, the following italics will become policy: This opens the gates for SpongeBob Wiki personnel to begin attending staff meetings.
