The Flower Fest is a special event in Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS. It takes place during the second week of August and lasts all week long. During this event Tortimer, the mayor of town, will request that all of the villagers plant a garden around their house. Whoever has the best garden by the end of the week will win the Flower Trophy and a special letter from Tortimer himself congratulating you. A last-minute option to cheat in the event requires the player to take every other villager's flowers the night before the event ends and plant them all around their own home.
