Appendage Fragments are items in Xenoblade Chronicles X. They are exclusively obtained by destroying the appendages of Nemesis enemies. While the Nemesis mission remains available, Appendage Fragments can be sold for Credits via the Inventory, or exchanged for Reward Tickets via the Global Nemesis Battle Spoils option at the Network Console. If the Nemesis is defeated, one type of Appendage Fragment is randomly chosen to be converted to a very rare material specific to that enemy, and the rest are converted to Reward Tickets.
