Gordon W. "Gord" Kruppke (born April 2, 1969 in Slave Lake, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 23 games in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings. In April. 1995, Kruppke was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs but only played three games for their farm team the St. John's Maple Leafs. In 1995-96 he joined the Houston Aeros of the International Hockey League where he played for three and a half seasons. He finished his career with the Grand Rapids Griffins in 1998-99.

"Gord" Kruppke (born April 2, 1969 in Slave Lake, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 23 games in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings. He played junior for the Prince Albert Raiders from 1985 to 1989 and was chosen 32nd overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. Kruppke turned pro in 1989-90 with the Adirondack Red Wings and spent the better part of six seasons with the American Hockey League team. He won the Calder Cup with Adirondack in 1992. During that time he was called up for a total of 23 games with Detroit and did not score a point. In April. 1995, Kruppke was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs but only played three games for their farm team the St. John's Maple Leafs. In 1995-96 he joined the Houston Aeros of the International Hockey League where he played for three and a half seasons. He finished his career with the Grand Rapids Griffins in 1998-99.
