Robert Gurth Hughes (born 14 July 1951) is a former Conservative Party politician. He was a member of the Greater London Council representing Croydon Central from March 1980 until the council's abolition in 1986. He was elected as member of parliament for Harrow West at the 1987 general election, held the seat in 1992 but lost to his Labour Party opponent at the 1997 general election.
