Rodan then challenged him to a soccer battle and won it easily by scoring a goal using his Soul, Doruuga. After the goal, Arbega changed his mind and was forced to let him join the team.

The third member of Shitennou, Rodan Gasgus, came to their captain, Arbega Gordon, and requested to join the team. However, Arbega refused his offer and said they could win on their own. Rodan then challenged him to a soccer battle and won it easily by scoring a goal using his Soul, Doruuga. After the goal, Arbega changed his mind and was forced to let him join the team. During the first-half, Arbega used his machine-enhanced eyepatch goggle to analyze shooting data and other information regarding Earth Eleven. This gave him a big advantage, since he was able to stop their shots and gave out accurate orders easily. Gurdon Eleven also used holes that emitted gas located around the field to pass. In addition, Earth Eleven were unable to withstand the heat of the planet and Shinsuke had a hard time defending the goalpost. Tetsukado, unlike the others, played especially hard and mastered a new hissatsu called Dead Straight and successfully scored the first goal for Earth Eleven. Later, he also unleashed his Soul and stopped Rodan from scoring a goal. In the second-half of the game, Shindou and Ibuki managed to come back and switched with Shinsuke and Konoha. Rodan was later switched out after he tried to set up the magma rock balls to crush Earth Eleven, which failed to do so. Shindou, Arbega, and Ibuki also unleashed their Souls respectively. They lost against Earth Eleven with a score of 3-2.
