The Docent in the British Museum was a dark-haired, blue-eyed woman who guided visitors through the British Museum, in London, United Kingdom. In 1930, she was leading a tour through the Near Eastern artifacts, including the Eight Shedus and the Bronze Gates of Imgur-Enlil, when one of her tour group members, slipped off and hid on top of one of the large figures. Not aware that she had lost part of her audience, she continued the tour.
