Tony Blair (born May 6, 1953) is the current President of Britain, serving since May 2, 2012. He previously served eight years as President (2000-2008) before he was constitutionally mandated to step aside. As the leader of the dominant political party United Britannia, he also served as Prime Minister from 2008 to 2012 under his successor and now predecessor as President, Gordon Brown. Prior to serving as Prime Minister, Blair was Governor of Durham County and Regional Coordinator, Northeast England.
