| - Location: Kuat System: Orbit of Kuat The green-blue of world IV in the Kuati system now dominates all else. Kuat... homeworld of the mightiest shipbuilding operations in all the galaxy, surrounded by a dense network of yards, floating space-ports for teeming masses of workers, and a constant stream of orbital-traffic. Occasionally a squadron of system-guard fighters might pass by, hailing on all frequencies, keeping the long-held stability of the planet assured. A Core-Founder of the Republic, Kuat is a testament to long-established industrial might. The yellow Kuati sun burns fiercely here; the green-blue planet glitters like a jewel below. This is a terraformed world, forests and plains, lakes and rivers, all abundant, deemed hospitable to many sentients. SPACE - Kuat System: Orbit of Kuat: VSS Invincible Princess and a vast fleet glide out of the Rimward end of the Kuat System, a legion of fighters and battleships floating through the darkness of space, weapons hot, all battle stations go. On board the saucer-shaped Defender, Euphemia Bellamy stands on the bridge, her cold golden eyes staring out at the defense stations which come between her and the Duros homeworld. The massive MC80 dwarfs most of the ships around it and the Talon fighters seem to be pre-powered and ready for orders to take the attack unto whomever resists. The Sullust President stands on the bridge of the Stalwart, giving orders to its crew. Something seems to be annoying him as he constantly badgers his sensor crews. SPACE - Kuat System: Orbit of Kuat: HMS Golden Dawn flies in a short distance behind the Invincible Princess and Hunter of Pirates, sticking to a close formation. The X-Wings, for some reason, return to the docking bay. But the V-Wing Squadron drops suddenly and unloads a stream of blue proton torpedoes toward the first station. The Defender itself opens fire with Turbolasers. Aboard the bridge. Magnus stands with his arms folded, frowning deeply as he shakes his head back and forth slowly. Then barks to one of the other officers, "Get the torpedoes on, then. And get them back out!" When it reaches optimal range it opens fire with laser cannons on the Kuati defense stations -- All these ships firing put together make for quite a show, though the impact of these smaller, civilian ships is not yet evident. Its fighter wings surrounding it on all sides. The President of Sullust seems to be ignoring most of the comsys chatter before turning to his vice-admiral. "Target Kuat Defense Station and than II. Relay those orders to the fighters. Tell them to use a barrage of proton torpedoes that have been stored. There seem to be no fighters to deal with." The Vice-Admiral nods his head and starts to go about disseminating orders. Pesiro smiles slightly, his visor keeping the explosions from affecting his sight.
