Agon Bearerpods are found throughout the Agon Wastes, supplying Samus with ammo and energy if she destroys them. They are pale blue in appearance and consist of a spherical growth on a stalk, and have many sharp spines on their epidermis. Upon closer inspection the Bearerpod has a large number of pulsing blue veins which are visible underneath its transparent skin. They are found in the areas outside of the Space Pirate base, in such rooms as Transport to Temple Grounds, Mining Plaza and Transport to Torvus Bog.

| - Agon Bearerpods are a species of hardy desert flora that is used by the local Luminoth as a way to store items that they consider useful, which includes but is not limited to supplies. They possess a tough epidermis which can be destroyed with relative ease even with conventional weaponry. In order to survive in their harsh environment, they are built to gather the trace amounts of moisture from the surrounding air and store it in a number of chambers throughout their body. They are capable of holding onto and processing this moisture for weeks if necessary, helping them to survive minor droughts, although in the cases of longer droughts (assuming that they occur within their ecosystem), it seems likely that the Luminoth aid their survival in some way or another. Records only indicate them existing within the Mining Plaza on the planet Aether, which is the planet they are indigenous to, although it is most likely the case that they just exist sparesly in small "patches" across the entirety of the planet's Agon Wastes.
