- Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country is the sixth Star Trek film produced and the sixth about the original series. The movie opens with the destruction of the Klingon moon Praxis and the USS Excelsior's discovery of the destruction. Months later, a meeting at Starfleet Headquarters reveals that the USS Enterprise-A was to escort the Chancellor of the Klingon Empire to Earth for peace talks. As the Enterprise carries out its mission, the Klingon flagship is attack and Chancellor Gorkon dies. Captain James Kirk and Doctor Leonard McCoy then beam over to the Klingon ship and are arrested for killing the Chancellor.
