Uranus is a large planet and the gravity is much stronger than that on Earth, so in all probability plants will stay, but be crushed. The other major issue with plants on Uranus is the fact that, while it has a rocky and icy centre, Uranus is mainly gas, so there would be nothing for the plant to be planted onto. martyfmelb: What about the icy centre? Maybe there are some hardy plants which can withstand the atmospheric pressure down there :)
