Even after his apprentice became a Jedi Knight, Kenobi and Skywalker fought together many times, becoming a widely renowned pair. Kenobi earned the sobriquet "The Negotiator" through his charm and calm demeanor as well as the quiet threat of his abilities with a lightsaber. Later in the war, Skywalker saved his life in a battle fought over Coruscant, after which Kenobi killed]] General Grievous on Utapau. Upon reporting his victory over the Separatist war leader, Kenobi returned to Coruscant to discover that the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic was in fact a Sith Lord and the mastermind behind the war. With the Sith vanquished by other members of the High Council, Kenobi was tasked with seeking out Force-sensitives who were not part of the Order, either organized or on their own. Leading several Knights to find these Forceful beings and bring them into the fold of the Order, Kenobi first sought out the young and exiled Jedi Ahsoka Tano and took her on as his apprentice. Together, the pair courted the Matuki clans, the Rellarin elders and the Tyia. He continued to sit on the Council when they relocated to Ossus and was regarded as one of the Order's wisest and most humble Masters.
