Lyon D. Kevin (リオン･D･ケビン, Rion Dī Kebin) also know as Young Rookie (若いルーキー, Wakai Ruukii) is a pirate son of Lyon D. Asher and Lyon Elaine two senior members of the Lyon Family. His family is quite big and different having a twin sister named Lyon Iona and a little sister named Lyon Alyce and in addition to his sisters he has plenty of cousins and uncles but in the current generation he is the only boy. Because his family wants him to become the next head he decided to make a chord where he could travel the world to learn everything he can, so that when he gets older he can challenge the current leader and earn the right to become the leader.

Because his family wants him to become the next head he decided to make a chord where he could travel the world to learn everything he can, so that when he gets older he can challenge the current leader and earn the right to become the leader. Kevin founded a rookie pirate crew named The Young Pirates together with his future first mate Helios, and over time the crew was increasing in size and becoming more and more famous. Kevin has a huge anger by the World Government due to they have kidnapped his sisters turning them into slaves and almost killing some of his companions, and as a response to this acts he freed his sisters killing the slave traders taking with him all the slaves. All the crimes he has committed gave him the bounty of File:Bsymbol.gif200,000,000 before the timeskip and after his last known act that makes him lose his left eye he left for the new world with his crew.
