  • He played Junior "B" hockey for the Chatham Maroons and then junior college for the St. Clair Saints and then signed with the California Golden Seals as a free agent in 1971. Hall only appeared in 9 games for the Seals over the next 4 seasons, scoring 2 goals. In 1975 Hall jumped to the Phoenix Roadrunners of the World Hockey Association (WHA) and exploded for 47 goals and 44 assists. In 1976-77 he followed up with 38 goals and 41 assists. But in 1977 he was sold to the Cincinnati Stingers by the cash-strapped Roadrunners and Hall only scored 7 points in 25 games. He was traded to the Edmonton Oilers for whom he only played one game before retiring. In the WHA, Hall scored 89 goals and 88 assists in 186 games.
