MMH is a Compet-N speedrunning category. The object is to finish the level in Ultra-Violence with the highest Maximum Minimum Health (MMH) possible. MMH is calculated this way: "Watch the health everytime the player takes damage, and take the smallest value of the whole recording. If the player takes no damage at all, the health at the exit counts." (Steffen "Rini" Udluft)

  • MMH is a Compet-N speedrunning category. The object is to finish the level in Ultra-Violence with the highest Maximum Minimum Health (MMH) possible. MMH is calculated this way: "Watch the health everytime the player takes damage, and take the smallest value of the whole recording. If the player takes no damage at all, the health at the exit counts." (Steffen "Rini" Udluft) In principle, every UV speed, UV max, UV Tyson, and UV pacifist submission could also be considered an MMH submission (indeed, many of the record-setting entries below use more demanding skill settings than ordinary UV, presumably on the grounds that it is even more difficult to avoid damage in such cases). Due to the sheer number of demos that would otherwise have to be examined twice as many times, however, a submission is judged by MMH criteria only if its creator explicitly asks to be placed in that category.
